Residence Caffe Savona Alba , Alba (Piedmont)

My stay had its ups and downs. The location was pretty good, with easy access to the main streets of Alba and nearby cafes that offered fresh juice and coffee for breakfast. However, the room I was in felt basic, and the lack of hot water was a significant issue during my stay. The unit lacked air conditioning, which made things quite uncomfortable, especially since it took a while to get a working fan. Overall, reasonable for the price, but I expected more.

I stayed here for the truffle festival, and while the location was decent, I had some issues with the apartment. It was quite cold, and we struggled with hot water throughout our four-day stay. The apartment was basic and lacked essential kitchenware. Although the daily towel service was a plus, I expected a bit more for 600€ for three nights, especially with the cleanliness being questionable.

I had a mixed experience at these apartments. On the plus side, they were super clean, modern, and offered great value for money. I loved the outdoor terrace and the large luxury bath. However, the lack of an elevator and the inconvenience of dragging my luggage up the steps was a real drawback. Overall, I would recommend it, especially for the free breakfast at Cafe Savona.
